Lazos supports the Residents programme at the San Camilo Home with 12.000 Euros.

With the objective of achieving the recovery of 16 people with HIV-AIDS who belong to the Residents programme of the San Camilo Home, improving their health in an integral fashion, this programme was born in 1995 and during 2009 has relied on financing from our association.  This programme also ensures the continuity of the location in which many more programmes are developed which in turn benefit more than 4.000 people. 

Care of the residents is based on individual intervention wherein physical factors are taken into account (to live in dignified conditions, have a roof, a bed, clean clothes, food, hygiene, physiotherapy, etc..), psychological and social factors (belonging to a group, emotional strength, mutual support) and spiritual factors (meeting the Lord as path, truth and life, which will provide meaning and strength in the fight against the disease itself).

All this will be possible in 2009 thanks to the support of all our partners and collaborators who, together, with different tasks, mobilise to ensure others can live with dignity.
