What do we do?

At Lazos con Perú (Links with the People of Peru) we work from our home town in support of the San Camilo Home.  How? 

We prepare cooperation projects which we then present to entities that can finance them (Town Halls, County Councils, etc). 

With our own funds we help with the general costs of the Home and we support some projects which are within our reach.  We also send certain materials and items that the Home asks us for. 

We participate in talks, debates, round tables, etc, where we denounce situations of injustice, we raise awareness about the reality of AIDS in the Third World (the situation of extreme poverty in which these people live, as well as being sick) and we offer our ideas which are full of hope of palliating these problems. 

We edit “Lazos”, our magazine containing general information about the Home and about our Association, which you can find under documents of interest.  It is produced thanks to the selfless labour of the some collaborators who bring their IT knowledge, their graphic design skills or who write the articles. 

We provide information about the possibility of doing volunteer work in the San Camilo Home

We collaborate with other organisations (Cáritas Diocesana de Málaga, Madre Coraje, Vols...) to ensure they know of the Home, its work and that they can also extend their help to it.
